Byrd Theatre

Commonwealth Architects is currently working with the Byrd Theatre Foundation to develop schematic design plans for the partial rehabilitation of the building. Among the improvements are enhancing the accessibility of the theatre, updating the bathrooms, replacing the seats, and installing a new marquee similar to the original. In addition, Commonwealth Architects is also assisting the client as it secures historic investment tax credits for its rehabilitation work.
