Wells Fargo - The Private Bank

Wells Fargo's Wealth Management Division retained Commonwealth Architects to provide design services for the relocation of the Private Banking Group to the 21st floor of the Wells Fargo tower in downtown Roanoke. The client's goal was to establish a sophisticated and warm feel for the comfort of a select group of the bank's clients, as well as to take advantage of the 21st floor's magnificent views of Roanoke and the surrounding mountains.

In establishing the layouts for the 9,100-square-foot office suite, the design team introduced glass partitions between the entry lobby and building perimeter to help create a light-filled space. In contrast, the rich, dark wood accent trim and custom-designed, dark wood reception desk bring scale and add warmth to the voluminous space. Customer interaction areas such as conference rooms and seating areas feature high quality, comfortable furnishings and finishes in keeping with the project's overall objectives.
