Enterprise Zone Initiative

In 2003, the Henrico County Department of Community Revitalization began working closely with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development to designate economically challenged areas of the county as Enterprise Zones. Businesses located in these areas became eligible for tax and grant incentives to help encourage expansion and new development within the Enterprise Zones. As part of this program, Commonwealth Architects has perform initial feasibility studies, including concept designs, renderings and cost estimates for facade improvements, streetscaping and parking lot improvements, for various retail tenants.
