Bank of America Graham Banking Center
When Bank of America's Graham Banking Center experienced water infiltration problems, they contracted Commonwealth Architects to document the existing conditions, analyze the problems and propose recommendations for repairs and rehabilitation. The work helps to preserve the Second Empire Style structure with its 14 foot ceilings, plaster medallions and cornices and elaborate wainscoting that displays fine period craftsmanship. The project was completed according to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and will receive historic investment tax credits. The house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
