Virginia Tech The Grove Historic Structures Report

Serving as the official residence of the university’s president since its construction in 1902, The Grove embodies the institutional ideal of respect for both architecture and the landscape. The report evolved in response to three needs: investigation of extant documentary materials, clarification of the historical narrative and timeline, and assessment of present physical conditions.
