Commonwealth Architects has taken on a variety of project types for its academic and institutional clients including rehabilitations of National Historic Landmarks, master planning and the design of new, multi-million dollar research facilities. A large part of our academic work has focused on public colleges and universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition to the projects below, this includes term contracts with Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Military Institute, Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, The College of William & Mary and the Virginia Community College System.
