Mills Presents at 2011 Environment Virginia Symposium
April 11, 2011
Principal Robert Mills took his expertise in the sustainable practice of rehabilitation on the road as a seminar participant at The 22nd Annual Environment Virginia Symposium held April 5-7. The conference "Sustainable Solutions for Uncertain Times: Partnering for Economic and Environmental Success" was sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Ethics at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA.
Mills joined Kathleen Kilpatrick, Director of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, Cherilyn Widell, Director of Heritage Assets for the Fort Monroe Authority and John Davy of the National Park Service Chesapeake Bay Program in a panel discussion on the reuse of Fort Monroe and the surrounding natural resources.
At the three day conference, more than 600 environmental leaders from the public and private sectors heard the latest on addressing environmental challenges and opportunities from national and state experts and on how to build successful partnerships for sustainable solutions in an uncertain economic environment.
