
Commonwealth Architects Announces Promotion of Seven Employees

Commonwealth Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of seven members of the firm.
Kenneth W. Pope, AIA, has been promoted to associate principal at Commonwealth Architects. With more than 26 years of experience in the practice of architecture, Pope, who joined the firm in 2004, has served as a project manager for a variety of projects including the adaptive reuse of historic structures, as well as higher education facilities.
Peter J. Barden, AIA, has been promoted to senior associate. He has been with Commonwealth Architects since 2005, serving as a project architect and has played an integral role in several of the firm's award-winning, rehabilitation projects.
Bryan Clark Green, PhD, has been promoted to senior associate. Since joining Commonwealth Architects in 2005, he has served as an architectural historian and presently serves as the firm's director of historic preservation.
Virginia W. Johnston, CID, has been promoted to senior associate. An interior designer with Commonwealth Architects since 2001, Johnston provides interior design services, space planning and project management for a wide range of clients from small boutiques to commercial property managers and international corporations.
Jon Shaw has been promoted to associate. Since joining Commonwealth Architects in 2005, he worked as production manager of the firm's 3D visualization services. He provides extensive experience in 3D modeling, production, project management, art direction, and digital media creation.
Greg Stephenson has been promoted to associate. As marketing coordinator for Commonwealth Architects since 2006, Stephenson leads the firm's proposal coordination efforts, serves as the company's webmaster and assists in the overall marketing efforts of the firm.
Jake Wiseman, AIA, has been promoted to associate. He has served as a project manager and project architect with Commonwealth Architects since 2007 where he has lent his technical expertise to a variety of rehabilitation projects.
