Two Projects Recognized for Excellence in Interior Design

The MWV Headquarters and Movieland at Boulevard Square recently received IDEA awards by the state and regional chapters of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
The new headquarters for MWV (formerly MeadWestvaco,) which opened in Richmond, VA this year, received Honorable Mention in the Corporate over 35,000 square feet category. Movieland at Boulevard Square, the transformation of a former manufacturing warehouse into a 17-screen cinema complex, received Honorable Mention in the Historic Preservation category.
Awarded by the ASID Virginia Chapter and IIDA Virginia/West Virginia Chapter, the annual IDEA awards recognize outstanding regional interior design projects.
