Barden Receives Architect's License

Commonwealth Architects is pleased to announce that Peter J. Barden, AIA, has passed the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE) and is now a licensed architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A graduate of Virginia Tech's School of Architecture, Barden has been a part of Commonwealth Architects for four years.

With over five years of experience, Barden has played an integral role in several of the firm's award-winning adaptive reuse projects, including the former Chamberlin Hotel at Fort Monroe and the former Berry-Burk department store in downtown Richmond, Va.
