Peterson Jefferson Place

Through the Tenant Services Division, Commonwealth Architects was contracted through the owner of the Peter Jefferson Place Office Park in Charlottesville, Virginia to provide tenant up-fit and design services. Many of the tenants serviced were corporate and medical office facilities seeking to relocate to the newly developed office park to expand their facilities and offer greater access to their clients. Commonwealth Architects’ team of designers worked closely with the leasing agent and tenants to meet the needs of both parties. Design work for a few of the new tenants is outlined below.

The team assisted TMO Global Logistics in relocating their corporate offices to Peter Jefferson Place, using a design concept of providing an open, airy environment that would encourage teaming and interaction while taking advantage of the beautiful natural views of the Charlottesville landscape. The palette was simple, utilizing a monochromatic color scheme accented with white moldings and black granite counters. TMO wanted an integration of the office interiors with the landscape views, so planter boxes were designed between work areas. Commonwealth Architects was also asked to provide prototype designs for the company’s satellite offices in Tampa, Florida.
